Digital Media Firm Gets $3 Million in Venture Capital

by Andrew Johnson A Phoenix digital media company has received $3 million in an early-stage round of venture capital from California investment firm Sierra Ventures and worker-compensation insurance provider SCF Arizona. The investment announcement comes a week after Flypaper Studio Inc. debuted their presentation software at DEMO, a California conference that highlights new technology. Flypaper's software, which is available at flypaper.net, lets users create elaborate, multimeda presentations and upload them to the Internet. Several Valley-based serial entreprenuers, including Don Pierson, Pat Stoner, Pat Sullivan and Greg Head, are spearheading the company which is the tranformation of e-learning company Interactive Alchemy.
